Titans cornerback Jason McCourty (concussion) hasn’t been cleared to practice, or to play in Sunday’s game against the Saints, but the signs are encouraging. He ran on Wednesday and said he’s feeling better. Coach Mike Munchak said McCourty would do more on Thursday and will have to pass the NFL’s concussion tests, but “we’re assuming those things will happen.†McCourty wants to face the high-powered Saints’ offense. “This would be the week to play. When you play in the secondary and against a guy like Drew Brees, you feel like this is the week you can really help the team,†he said. “As a player, you don’t want to miss any games.
