Titans coach Mike Munchak said the plan is for quarterbacks Matt Hasselbeck and second-year pro Jake Locker to work with different offensive units, comprised of first- and second-team players, during the offseason. In the end, he’d like to see the reps divided 50-50. Ideally, he’d like to make a decision on the quarterback race by the third preseason game in late August. “Sure we would. We would like that for all positions. Going into that third game you would like to have an idea of what your plan is,â€￾ Munchak said. “I feel so good about both of them I am not necessarily leaning either way on it. I feel like either way it is going to be a good situation for the team. It is a tough situation to be in when you draft a quarterback in the first round and if you just don’t hand him the job when he walks in the door you are going to have some tough decisions to make. We realize that. It is a good problem to have, but it is a tough one to have too.â€￾
