Markus Kuhn's season appears to be over. Tom Coughlin today said that he believes Kuhn suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Bengals. "That's sad. That poor kid's got an ACL, I believe," Coughlin said this afternoon. "I haven't seen anything really official," Coughlin said. "I shouldn't have spoken. I haven't talked to the doctors or Ronnie, but [Markus] did just walk in and I believe that's what he mentioned." The Giants selected Kuhn, a native of Germany, in the seventh-round of April's draft and he contributed immediately with various injuries at defensive tackle to Chris Canty, Rocky Bernard and Marvin Austin. When Canty returned from the physically-unable-to-perform list and Bernard from a quadriceps injury, Kuhn got the nod over Austin in the rotation. Austin was inactive Sunday.
