Chris Weidman knocked out Anderson Silva in the second round of the main event of UFC 162 at the MGM Grand Garden on Saturday night to end the longest winning streak in UFC history and win the middleweight title. Silva continuously taunted Weidman throughout the early portion of the fight, and moments after Silva pretended to be dazed, Weidman floored him with a left hand and finished with a flurry of blows to win the belt. Also, former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar snapped a three-fight losing streak with a unanimous decision over Charles Oliveira in a featherweight bout. Middleweights Tim Kennedy and Mark Munoz picked up unanimous decision victories on the main card, and featherweight Cub Swanson knocked out Dennis Siver. USA! But really, what the f*ck was Silva doing out there? It almost seems like he threw the fight. Congrats to Weidman. He earned it tonight
Silva said he didn't even want a rematch in his post fight interview and he is not going to fight for the title anymore. He didn't even care about this fight. Rest of the card was OK
If I was Dana he will be rematching or he can get the heck out of the UFC. Your not going to have 10 more fights where you clown around and don't even try for a title.
