Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said Wednesday that the team is not pursuing former Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher.

Speaking on "NFL AM" this morning, Frazier said, "Brian has been a great player in our league for a long, long time. He was a thorn in our side for many years. At this point we want to look at the guys on our roster, give them a chance to compete for the middle linebacker position then we'll see where it takes us."

There was a report on Tuesday which linked Urlacher to the Vikings.

He thinks his value is between $3-$5M and in actuality, it's probably the vet minimum with incentives. Until Urlacher can accept that, no ones going to be interested.

But but but Brian wants to be paid for the player he was, not the player he is/will be.

I was hoping that if Urlacher did not come back to the Bears he would go out of the division. Yeah he's lost a step but he is still dangerous. Don't need him playing the Bears twice a year with a vengeance, know what I'm saying?

I'm really not concerned about his 'playing with a vengeance'.

Most if it will be between plays & in front of the mic...
