Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards registered a career-high 3.0 sacks as the Vikings harrassed Cowboys QB Tony Romo for six sacks and many more hits, but left the game during the third quarter with what appeared to be a right knee injury. The Vikings appeared to exit the game without any other significant injuries, and coach Brad Childress didn’t show a great deal of concern over Edwards, who is a key for the defense opposite Jared Allen on the defensive line. “I’m not worried until I deal with the medical report,â€￾ Childress said. “I think he’ll be OK. There was no reason for him to come back in at that point.â€￾
