Peterson is due back in Mankato tonight and should return to the field Tuesday to resume his off-to-the-side rehabilitation work on his left knee. As for football, the Vikings running back remains on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list during training camp and head coach Leslie Frazier reiterated this morning that there was no chance that tag would be removed this week as the Vikings prepare for their Friday preseason opener in San Francisco. "I don't anticipate us doing anything different than we did a week ago with him," Frazier said. "We'll continue to go through this process and evaluate it after the San Francisco game.
