First thing that entered my mind was here's you've got a QB that you're paying $100MM+ ($55MM guaranteed) and he's your future. It's only the 8th game of the season, worst position they're going to be in is a 1/2 game lead in the East and they're acting like it was the SuperBowl. Whether Romo said he was OK to play or not, Garrett/Jones should have said no way. That's the same back that had surgery and one blindsided blow could end it all. Then you consider Weeden was having success and none of made any sense.
I Think the idea of going back in was romo's. you can say a whole lot about romo,but the guy is tough.a few years ago against the 49ers he played the 2nd half with a partial lung collapse. biggest curiousity i have in the game is why did dallas quit running the ball in the 4th quarter? i think they would have won had they kept doing that.
