    he would still suck but at least have a playoff victory under his belt. If that is still haunting him he needs some serious therapy.

    i think it's FG's and the redzone in general. there was a play late in the last game game where he could have easily ran in for a TD from 5 or 6 yards...but instead he lofted a wobbly pass over austin's head

    Romo was his first choice. Romo was his QB, he developed Romo. He offered us a 2nd for him, but Parcells turned it down, the they went after Brees ( who was damaged goods at the time)

    I heard about that after posting. Still, I think he has regressed too far for even Payton to help. But that is all a moot point. Payton is staying.
