Kareem Jackson. I have a good feeling about him.

    Or Jerry Hughes. He's ace.

Lord_Joe do you think that me going homer was stupid, or do you think he could have that big of an impact on our D?

Safeties don't have much of an impact on defense, not usually. Plus teams will be running all over the Chiefs.

Teams may or may not be running all over us next year, but this the threat of being thrown near will help there's no denying that.

  8. Lord_Joe

    I wouldn't say "stupid", just "ill-advised"

as previously stated, usually safeties don't have much impact on a defense - especially rookie ones (excl Jairus Byrd)

Linebacker is the easiest defensive position to play as a rookie, which is why the public vote for them a lot for DROY. They don't really take into account the challenge difference between OLB and CB for a rookie.

chose 'other', first off because i don't have someone to be a homer for, but, more importantly, because I want to see if JJ's neg rep's will actually make me not be able to crap for a week .......................

Picked Suh. I don't like any of the LBs to explode this year, I know we've seen it a lot, and I think Suh could put up solid numbers as a rookie as Detroit did some other work on their d-line, who knows if it'll show with the holes they still have.

  14. K Train

    K Train Do You Honeycutt?

its almost never a DT, suh has the name but i really doubt he explodes to make THAT big of a difference to fend off LBs that are tackling machines and guys like eric berry with a nose for the ball.

im going with weatherspoon....his sideline to sideline range is unreal, he'll lead rookies in tackles. berry is my #2
