I don't give a single crap about the Winter Olympics. I'm going to try and catch as much hockey as I can, but other than that I'll catch the Olympics in about 2 years.
The ratings, I heard this morning, are better in colder areas than in warmer areas.
The only things I've seen are the US team walking into the stadium, some figure skating, and some skiing.
This ought to get you ready for the Summer Games:
Probably. If you're doing winter sports by yourself, you are more related to it.
The women's 4x 5km XC relay was great. Sweden won, Finland finished second and Germany with a unexpected 3rd place
I didn't get to watch the game...but way to go USA Hockey in beating Russia today!
Can't believe the USA took one men's and one women's medal in the Skeleton.
Well done USA
On deadspin ppl ripping Russia for the bad snow conditions.....
nice job Team USA
did anyone actually see it occur?
I'm curious what the timeline was from the goal being off its moorings until the Russians scored the controversial disallowed goal. The highlights made it seem like it happened while the shot was being taken, but some are telling me it was off before then. Seems like we caught a huge break.
From what I've read our goalie knocked it out of the moorings. But either way, Oshie is a beast!!
Quick definitely knocked it off. I'm wondering about the timeline from when he did so to when the goal was disallowed.
