It was an extraordinarily, beautiful Sunday afternoon in Tampa, Florida. Days like these are the reason so many people pay us a visit. Sun shining, the sky a beautiful bright blue and just enough of a September breeze to make the normally unbearable heat quite tolerable. Had you been granted the opportunity to design the ideal weather, you couldn’t have planned it any prettier.

Hordes of Buccaneers fans piled into Raymond James Stadium giddy yet disillusioned, thinking for once, like fans of a team with a perfectly clean slate at the beginning of the season, that their team stood a chance that afternoon against the struggling New York Giants. Little did they know they had seen this rodeo before. Silly rabbit.

It's never nice to see your division rival get a brand new franchise QB and show him off. This is the exact same thing I said 15 years ago when Eli made her first start. And with Wentz a couple of years ago.

Meanwhile, the QBs in the once QB strong NFC South have flown south. Jameis (bad), Ryan (just as interception prone), Brees (banged up) and Cam (banged the same).

Can someone here complete a pass that's not to the opposite team?

    DawkinsINT Tebow free since 9/5/2015.

This was not the intro to the NFL that I wanted for Jones. Hopefully he'll end up being nothing more than average though.

Eli was average...probably the most average QB ever, with his 116-116 record as a starter. He was nowhere near as spectacular as his brother. He still won two Super Bowls.
