Taping Date: 4/19/11 - Air Date: 4/22/11 - O2 Arena in London, England

The show opens with a Edge video package followed by a rundown of the Extreme Rules lineup. On tonight’s show, Big Show & Kane will face Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel for the WWE Tag Team Championship and Kofi Kingston will face Wade Barrett for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Sir Michael Cole comes out to the British National Anthem to a ton of heat.

Cody Rhodes comes out with three men wearing suits with one pushing a shopping cart. In the cart there are paper bags. Rhodes instructs his posse to hand out the bags to the crowd because they all need them. Everyone on the front row is given a brown paper back to put over their head. Rhodes cuts a heel promo which leads to his Wrestlemania XXVII rematch with Rey Mysterio.

Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio. Winner via reversed powerbomb into a sit down pin, Rey Mysterio. After the match, Rhodes beats him down and they brawl on the outside. Cody finally gets the upper hand after a lengthy battle and puts a paper bag over Mysterio’s head.

Michael Cole introduces Jack Swagger after footage from his Knighting Ceremony from this week’s WWE Raw airs.

Jack Swagger vs. Trent Barreta. Swagger makes him tap out in the ankle lock in a squash match.

Big Show and Kane are shown walking backstage to the ring as their match for the WWE Tag Team Championship is up next.

The new Awesome Kong vignette airs.

For the WWE Tag Team Championship, Big Show & Kane vs. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel w/Ezekiel Jackson. Winners & new WWE Tag Team Champions, Big Show & Kane. They got the win after miss-communication from The Corre.

Backstage, The Corre argue and Ezekiel Jackson blames Heath Slater. Slater pushes Justin Gabriel.

Drew McIntyre vs. Chris Masters. Winner after hitting the Future Shock DDT, Drew McIntyre

Wade Barrett b. Kofi Kingston to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ezekiel Jackson came out with Barrett but when he nearly cost him the match by accidentally clotheslining him, Barrett banished him to backstage.

Alberto Del Rio hosts a retirement party for Edge. He comes out and unveils his gifts to the Rated R Superstar: A grandfather clock, adult diapers and the love of his life Lita. Out comes a very obese lady posing as Lita. Del Rio also says he got him a new ride. Ricardo Rodriguez drives a mobile scooter out to an Edge-like entrance. Del Rio tells Brodus Clay to attack Edge (who is on the ramp) but as Clay goes up the ramp Christian is hiding under the ring with a ladder. He attacks Clay on the ramp then takes out Del Rio. Christian gets in the ring with the ladder and grabs the World Heavyweight Championship from up top. Edge applauds from the ramp to end the show.

The opening to the show has been modified to include the new ‘drafted’ Superstars.

Randy Orton comes out and cuts a promo to open the show. Drew McIntyre comes out wearing a Raw shirt and goes for the attack. Randy Orton counters connecting with the RKO. Alex Riley is out but also falls victim to an RKO. Alberto Del Rio and his crew come out like they are going to attack Orton but Christian comes in to make the save!

Teddy Long is out to announce tonight’s main event: Christian & Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio & Brodus Clay

Kofi Kingston attempts to come out to the ring but is attacked by Sheamus. Sheamus connects with the brogue kick. Sheamus is helped to the back

Michael Cole introduces Jack Swagger with a ‘pig call’ (mocking JR).

Sin Cara b. Jack Swagger - Cara dominates most of the match. He gets the win via roll-up pinfall. During the match Michael Cole attempted to give Swagger a foreign object.

Kane & Big Show b. Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to retain the World Tag Team Championship.

Rey Mysterio b. Mark Henry via disqualification after Cody Rhodes comes out and attacks Rey. Cody Rhodes & Mark Henry double-team Rey Mysterio and then paper bag him.

Layla El vs. Michelle McCool - The match only goes for two minutes and ends in a double-count out. Layla El challenges her to a no count out, no dq match at Extreme Rules Sunday. McCool accepts and says the loser must leave SmackDown. Layla complies with the stipulation.

Christian is interviewed backstage by Matt Striker. Christian discusses his title match at Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay per view as well as Edge’s retirement. He said it is his destiny to be called the ‘World Champion.’

Christian & Randy Orton b. Alberto Del Rio & Brodus Clay

 

Taping Date: 5/3/11 - Air Date: 5/6/11 - Amway Center - Orlando, Florida

World Heavyweight Champion Christian comes out to open the show. He cuts a promo about winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. This leads to Mark Henry, The Great Khali and Randy Orton coming out. Teddy Long comes out and says he’s going to leave it up to the fans to decide who Christian faces tonight. The crowd goes with Christian vs. Orton.

Backstage, The Great Khali is shown talking to Jinder Mahal.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan. Winner via Brogue Kick, Sheamus.

Backstage, Layla is shown talking to other Divas.

Cody Rhodes comes out with two guys wearing suits. The two guys pass out the paper bags to fans in the front row. Rhodes cuts a promo but doesn’t work a match.

Big Show vs. Ezekiel Jackson. Kane comes out during the match. Jackson wins with a clothesline after outside interference from The Corre. Kane was taken out prior to the finish.

Layla b. Alicia Fox. Kharma makes her way down to the ring. Fox is destroyed with an Implant Buster.

Backstage, dissension with Ezekiel Jackson and The Corre continues. A brawl erupts.

Sin Cara vs. Tyson Kidd with Chavo Guerrero on commentary. Cara goes over with the Spanish Fly he’s been using.

Backstage, Teddy Long discusses Christian vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship later tonight.

Randy Orton b. Christian to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. The match was outstanding and the crowd went nuts when Orton won the belt.

 

Taping Date: 5/10/11 - Air Date: 5/13/11 - Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee

Christian comes out and cuts a promo on Randy Orton beating him for the World Heavyweight Championship last week. Christian announces his plan to invoke his rematch clause at WWE Over The Limit. Mark Henry and Sheamus come out and they want a title shot. They beat down Christian and Orton makes the save. A tag match is setup for later.

Sin Cara b. Daniel Bryan with Chavo Guerrero on commentary. Chavo distracted Daniel which upset Cara after the match.

Layla comes out and cuts a promo on ending the career of Michelle McCool. Michael Cole interrupts with his anti-Diva bit but Kharma comes out and lays out Layla. Kharma goes after Cole but he gets away in the Cole Mine.

Kane b. WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett via disqualification after interference from The Corre. Ezekiel Jackson, now a babyface, took out his former faction members.

The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh out for the Kiss Cam. Jinder Mahal came out and smacked Khali’s cowboy hat off as both Khali and Singh were wearing them.

Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Christian are showing getting ready for their main event match

Backstage, Wade Barrett offers Ezekiel Jackson a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Over The Limit.

Cody Rhodes cut a heel promo then beat Ted DiBiase.

World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton & Christian b. Mark Henry & Sheamus. Orton and Christian hit their finishers simultaneously, with Christian taking care of Sheamus and Orton taking care of Henry.

Dark Match: World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, Christian & Ezekiel Jackson b. WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel

 

Taping Date: 5/17/11 - Air Date: 5/20/11 - American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas

Christian beat Sheamus by DQ. Mark Henry interfered. Randy Orton took his time, but made the save.

Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase came out. Cody got major heat for the paper bags when DiBiase said he represented Corpus Christi with a bag over his head.

Ted DiBiase beat Trent Baretta.

Ezekiel Jackson came out and then The Corre followed. Teddy Long interrupted and made a six-man tag match.

Kane, Big Show, and Ezekiel Jackson beat The Corre in a six-man tag.

Brie Bella beat Natalya. Bella won with the X Factor. Kharma didn’t show up, which upset the fans.

Daniel Bryan beat Chavo Guerrero. A five minute match. Sin Cara came out and hit a huracanrana on Chavo after the Match. It looked like they were setting up Sin Cara vs. Chavo for Over The Limit.

Randy Orton beat Mark Henry by DQ. Sheamus interfered. Christian took his time before coming out and making the save.

Dark Match: Randy Orton wrestled Christian to a no-contest. The match ended in interference from Sheamus and Mark Henry.

 

Taping Date: 5/24/11 - Air Date: 5/27/11 - Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena - Spokane, Washington

Randy Orton kicked off the show. Before he could get going, Christian interrupted. Christian congratulated Orton for their match on Sunday. Then he said the match could have gone either way. He issued a challenge, but Sheamus interrupted. And then Mark Henry interrupted the interruption. We get some GM action with Teddy Long, who mentioned it was deja vu with the same guys arguing about the world title. Long said Christian will have to earn the title shot by booking a Triple Threat between Henry, Sheamus, and Christian for tonight.

Sin Cara beat Chavo Guerrero. Sin Cara came out to a huge pop for the Over The Limit rematch. The mood lighting was in full effect. Sin Cara won after the head-scissors takedown.

Cody Rhodes came out and the brown bag crew followed closely behind. He cut a quick promo about how unattractive the crowd was. Daniel Bryan interrupted and received a bigger pop than Sin Cara did.

Daniel Bryan defeated Cody Rhodes. Bryan won the match with the LeBell Lock. Cody jumped Bryan after the match. He tagged him with CrossRhodes on the floor and then gave him the brown bag treatment.

Booker T entered the ring after a great Tribute to the Troops video. He invites Michael Cole to step into the ring. Cole obliged. Book reminded us of Cole’s loss at the pay-per-view. He was shocked at Cole’s apology, and gave him big props. He wanted to give Cole a chance to apologize again to the Smackdown audience. Booker short-armed the handshake and showed the picture of Cole with King’s foot in his mouth. Booker presented him with some Altoids.

Backstage interview with Christian, who talked about how he was always the last kid picked but made the most of it and proved everyone wrong.

Kane beat Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh). Khali wasn’t dancing, but his brother was. Kane’s pyro knocked the Tron out of whack, its vertical hold was messed up. Total bumps for Khali: one! Jinder Mahal came out after the match. He spoke in his native tongue and then then shoved Singh. Khali came to Ranjin’s defense only to crush his head. Jinder and Khali left together.

Ezekiel Jackson defeated Heath Slater by DQ. Zeke dominated the match and had Slater in the Torture Rack until other Corre members ran in for the DQ. Zeke fought them off. Wade Barrett did not enter the ring.

Backstage with Sheamus. He spoke about how he achieved in a few months what took Henry and Christian their whole lives to accomplish.

Alicia Fox and Tamina defeated A.J. and Kaitlyn (w/Natalya). Alicia pinned Kaitlyn after an axe kick.

Sheamus beat Christian and Mark Henry in a three-way match to become #1 contender to the World Title.
