Seattle Seahawks Not White Fit For Lendale – Marshawn Lynch Anyone?

Lendale White has already worn out his welcome in Seattle

Just when fantasy GMs were starting to think of Lendale White as a potential sleeper pick for the 2010 season, he managed to get kicked off yet another team. No one is saying exactly what prompted the release of the once highly prized running back, but apparently his weight was not at issue this time. Quotes from those involved lead us to believe it is an attitude issue.

“It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks,” Seahawks G.M. John Schneider said in the team’s statement. “It just did not appear to be the right fit at this point in our program. We wish LenDale all the best with his future.”

With Lendale now free to sign with any team he wants, it remains to be seen what the Seahawks will do at tailback. They still have Julius Jones, Justin Forsett and Leon Washington, along with a few lesser known backs but there is still a guy over in Buffalo that could fit the bill perfectly for Seattle. Marshawn Lynch anyone?

We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out, but Seattle was once considered a landing spot for Lynch, and perhaps a logical fit. However, the release of White may signal the team’s desire to avoid character and attitude issues.
