Week 15 Target Report: Laurent Robinson Still Valued?
Posted by Greg Brosh on Dec 14, 2011 in Fantasy Football

Laurent Robinson only caught 4 passes against the Giants, but he made the most of them with 137 yards and a score.
If you had asked me last week whether or not to start Laurent Robinson against the Giants, I would have told you no. With Miles Austin finally back from his hamstring injury, Robinson’s value was supposed to plunge. As the No, 3 behind Austin and Dez Bryant, how on Earth could anyone have predicted he would blow up with 4 catches (5 targets) for 137 yards and a score? Pro Football Focus’ Mike Clay Tweeted that Robinson only played in 27 snaps compared to Austin’s 54 and Bryant’s 53. So while Robinson did have big numbers, he is still the clear-cut No. 3. The only difference was Robinson’s 34.25 yards-per-catch average.
Below is the top 20 players by targets as we head into Week 15. As you can see, we now have our all new NFL Target report section which allows owners to keep track of all their fantasy players.
KEY:
Pos: Position
Rec: Receptions
TD: Touchdowns

PLAYAOOFFSSS!!! thanks for all the advice this year, this site is great! standard scoring – 2 rbs, 2 wr, 1 flex: ced ben, ap, helu, kevin smith, dez bryant, laurent robinson, stevie johnson, nate washington. titans or bengals d? starting romo at qb so nervous about going so cowboys heavy but seems like you just gotta get your best guys out there and hope for the best! thanks!
Standard Scoring PPR or non? if it’s PPR, i would sit benson. smith isn’t in my rankings, but it sounds like he is good to go. i am going to put him back up tomorrow. i would go ap, helu and smith as your flex.
receivers: bryant and washington. washington was huge last week with locker and the colts defense is reeling. robinson had big numbers last week, but on only 4 catches. johnson’s last game against the dolphins wasn’t all that great. so for me it’s DEFINITELY bryant and very close between washington and johnson as my second choice.
defenses are somewhat close, but i would go with the titans. but man it’s really close.
is demariyus thomas a better play brandon llyod this week? 0.5 ppr, 1pt/20 yards receiving. thanks!
if you are a gambler, i’d go thomas. he been big the last two weeks and you figure the broncos will be throwing a lot.
In the Semi Finals need to start 3 of these WR’s. PPR
1.Miles Austin
2.Marques Colston
3.Julio Jones
4.Brandon Loyd
5.Robert Meachem
6.Pierre Garcon
7.Jabar Gaffney
it would be the top 3 for me whitty. lloyd comes in a close 4th. i would use ray’s rankings to judge.
having a major thought delima I made the playoffs despite all of my hbs going to IR Forte, Murray and Best…. thought I was screwed but thats figured out now gonna start Smith(praying he is ok) and Grant. When it comes to my recivers and TE I fight myself both ways…
WR starting with who I have as a starter
1.Crabtree
2.Cruz
3.Thomas(den)
4. Brown(pit)
5.Dez
6. Robinson
7.Maclin
TE
1.Winslow
2.Pettigrew
3.Daniels
Really could use some help on what to do my brain is hurtting!
smith and grant should surprise. i will be pumping out an updated rb ranking tomorrow and i believe both will be in the top 15.
how many receivers? right now i say dez and thomas. if you can start 3, i would throw in cruz. brown is pretty close, but san fran has been better against fantasy receivers lately.
with your tight ends, i would rank them
pettigrew
daniels
winslow
I can start 2 hb 1 hb/wr and 3 wr those are the only I have Mendenhall but really don’t think starting him is a good move. So you think Robinson will be a no go?
robinson should be fine. the only thing i worry about is that he didn’t a lot of snaps and made the most out of them. that’s my big issue.
Ya im gonna do Brown over Robinson… How do you feel about Mendenhall ie he doesnt preform when he should but does when he shouldnt? or just stick with smith and grant
to Aaron, it still isn’t know if starks will play. i find it hard to believe mendenhall will be able to do much. the 49ers rushing defense still only give up 10.2 fantasy points a game to fantasy backs. i’d still go with grant and smith. starks will still be less than 100 percent.
Non ppr league. Worried about Fitzgerald this week. My other two options are desean Jackson or Laurent Robinson. Do I take a chance or roll with fitz?
robinson scored, but i had figured he wouldn’t much last night. i don’t trust jackson regardless. i’d still go fitz if you didn’t go with robinson already.
