With the Week Two Tight End Rankings heading your way, lets take some time to reflect on a couple guys who stood out in Week One. It appears that the Patriots are still going to continue to utilize both Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez after both scored against the Titans Sunday. I wound up taking a chance on Hernandez as a TE1 with the chemistry he had with Brady in the preseason. Looks like I made the right choice.
Jimmy Graham didn't disappoint owners this past week either. After being drafted as high as the first round by many over the summer, Graham's 6 catches for 85 yards and a touchdown was huge in the Saints' losing end against the Redskins. Over 1000 yards receiving is clearly in sight for Graham this year.
Broncos TE Jacob Tamme was another guy I wanted to keep an eye on. After playing with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis, it looks like the Manning/Tamme connection didn't miss a beat after Tamme caught 5 passes for 43 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers. Joel Dreesen also scored, but Tamme could sneak into TE1 territory real soon if he keeps it up.
On that note, lets take a look at the Week Two Tight End Rankings. And, like always, make sure to check out the rest of our rankings (including IDP) on the site's ranking page.
