2nd Year Players on the rise!
Since the start of traing camp Top Fantasy Football has been putting together some players on the rise, lately I have been searching depth-charts and camp updates to help you with finding a few 2nd year players that have been on the rise throughout training camp.
McFadden is an elite talent, the question is, will he be ready to dominate in fantasy circles this year?
Felix Jones (DAL) - Can you imagine the numbers this kid will put up when he is healthy? I can't wait to see this game-breaker make plays in th'09 season. Apparently Jones is fully recovering from toe problems suffered last year, his '08 campaign was cut short after season ending surgery. Jerry Jones has stated he wants to use Jones and Barber as a good one-two punch. His average yards per carry last season was an impressive 8.9 yards a carry, and 3 TD's from 11, 60 and 33 yards out.
With the loss of Terrell Owens this team will have to make up for it by running the football and controlling the clock. Romo will get his share of TD's but so will their RB's, so expect a big season from this '08 first rounder. If you are in a PPR league, this RB is one you want to target at the RB position. I can see the exact same impact Chris Johnson had for the Titans last year in Dallas' offense. He isn't a sleeper but he will be under-drafted in my opinion.
The key to winning in your fantasy football leagues is to find the players that will be drafted later than they should be and provide your team with some stability or trade bait to improve your squad in other areas. You need to find consistent production from week to week. This is just a few second year players who should have a good opportunity to outproduce their average draft positions and help give your fantasy team a boost in production for the start of the '09 NFL regular season.
