The Indianapolis Colts have confirmend a report that WR Austin Collie will have surgery on his hand, and will likely miss "several games", and maybe more.
The team ins giving no time table for his return, but clearly this is a blow for the Colts and fantasy managers.
The initial reaction here, is to give Pierre Garcon the nod (should you own him) as the new starting WR in Indianapolis, but if you play in deeper leagues (12 to 14 man) you will inevitably be scraping the barrel for a quality replacement.
Redskins WR Anthony Armstrong is a strong candidate, and is available even in those deeper leagues, as well as, Rams WR Brandon Gibson who has not only been speculated to take over the majority of Mark Clayton's role, but also has been one of the most consistent receivers in St. Louis to date.
