Brian Westbrook RB Philadelphia Eagles

July 27, 2009 by Kurt Turner

According to Adam Caplan on Twitter Eagles coach Andy Reid says Brian Westbrook (knee, ankle) has "a chance" to get back on the field by mid-August.

The Spin

I’ll be amazed if Westbrook plays more than 12 full games this year. He is amazing, simply amazing but his body is fading and can’t keep up with his quick feet, freakish balance and low center of gravity when cutting (watch him in slow mo and you’ll see what I mean). In fantasy football you can’t do anything with a back you have to question week in and week out. You’re RB slot is always in question!
