Reports on Tuesday afternoon are that free agent defensive end Jason Taylor has finally made a decision regarding his home in 2010: the New York Jets will be paying Taylor.
The fantasy impact of this deal is questionable. Taylor's resume is impressive, but how much he has left in the tank is questionable. Whether or not he's worth a roster spot in IDP leagues is questionable, but his presence on third downs should make the Jets DEF even more valuable. Considering they've already added Antonio Cromartie to play opposite Derrell Revis in their secondary, the Jets might now be the undisputed top team defense in fantasy football for 2010.
