The Carolina Panthers have put RB DeAngelo Williams on injured reserve, effectively ending his season with that nagging foot injury he has been dealing with.
But that’s not all.
Fellow RB Jonathan Stewart is expected to miss this week’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, leaving Mike Goodson the lone kitty in the litter.
Mike Goodson gained 100 yards rushing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, with 13 yards receiving on 3 grabs, and while the competition will get slightly harder against Baltimore this week, Goodson still remains a nice grab off the waiver wire.
The Panthers are a two-back type team, and even when Stewart returns—up in the air right now—Goodson will still retain some nice fantasy value as the RB2 in the system, as well, as the primary return man.
If you aren’t sold on Goodson, try your hand with Redskins RB Keiland Williams who has 114 rushing yards on 22 carries with 3 TDs, and 78 receiving yards on 7 catches with a single touchdown in his last two games.
