Fantasy Football Draft Strategies

The TLDR version goes like this, everyone else please see the articles below. Draft at least 3 running backs and 4 wide receivers before the draft is complete. Look for quarterbacks in the middle rounds then draft a tight end after you have RB, WR and QB spoken for. With your first pick a general rule of thumb that works in most leagues is to draft one of the top-5 running backs followed by one of the top-5 wide receivers. Obviously I recommend using our cheat sheets.

You MUST have a cheat sheet customized to your league settings. When you're on the clock you can't waste time fumbling for information to help guide you toward the right pick. Our cheat sheets have all the important information in a single row. I developed our cheat sheets for myself and use it to this day.

Knowledge is power and preparation is key. The articles below will help new comers and vets get one step closer to that league championship.

Fantasy Football Draft… for Starters

August 7, 2012 by Kurt Turner

There are many differing ways to play fantasy football and many different roster formations.  Most of the fantasy football leagues I have seen have nine starting positions – quarterback, tight end, defense, kicker, two running backs, two wide receivers, and some sort of flex.  That’s pretty common, though there are a million variations.  What doesn’t […]

The Biggest Draft Question, Answered

August 5, 2012 by Kurt Turner

Fantasy football draft prep season is finally upon us, and I’m here to answer the biggest draft question plaguing fantasy football players everywhere: How am I supposed to be able to compare players from different positions to determine the right guy to pick? The answer to that question is obviously not just total points scored. […]

One of our members (Starkly, his 2nd year) posted the question below in our forum. It’s such a common question, I wanted to share it with our readers. We offer year round forum support as well as customized cheat sheets, a player tracker and game day waiver wire notifications for all subscribers to our Dominator […]
