Ranking the start/sit, TE edition.
WHO DAT said they gonna beat them Saints? Finally I can pull for a dominating team. My kids are even cheering along each week as we mop up the competition. Do you think they will rest starters after they clinch home field?
Start
Antonio Gates versus Cleveland
Who opened the flood Gates? I almost gave up on Gates but plugged him in one more time and it paid off! I’m always in favor of riding the hot hand so I'll start him again this week against the horrible Cleveland Browns.
Vernon Davis versus Seattle
Seattle can’t move the ball very well which means about 6 to 8 more minutes time of possession for the 49’s. Seattle’s secondary will give the 49’s WR core trouble leaving Davis the best option on the field.
Tony Gonzalez versus Philadelphia
Matt Ryan is out which makes Tony Gonzalez a must start. Chris Redman toss the ball 8 times to Gonzalez and this should only increase against an Eagle’s secondary that has major issues against the TE position.
Greg Olsen versus St. Louis
What does Butter and Biscuits, Rice and Gravy, and Cutler and Olsen, all have in common? It’s all good baby, all good!
Sit
Dustin Keller versus Buffalo
Buffalo seems to be on a roll under the new head coach and Keller is inconsistent anyways.
Heath Miller versus Oakland
With Big Ben’s status in question I just can’t trust Miller against a strong Oakland secondary.
Jason Witten versus Giants
Witten will be blocking more than running pass routes this week, not like he has been hot anyways.
Jeremy Shockey versus Washington
No body spreads the wealth more than then New Orleans Saints and with the David Thomas getting love from Brees more and more each week Shockey is becoming more of a none factor.
Sleepers
Brent Celek versus Atlanta
I seriously doubt D Jackson will play; this leaves more balls for Celek.
Tony Scheffler versus Kansas City
Gates did it last week, this week it will be Scheffler
Jermichael Finley versus Baltimore
Finley has been lining up as a WR more and more each week. Baltimore can put up points at will making this a high scoring affair. All of this sets him up for a big game.
Bo Scaife versus Tennessee
He had 5 for 68 last week and this week the Titians could be forced to air it out.
