Ryan Moats took over as Houston's featured back after Steve Slaton lost a fumble on his first carry. He rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries and caught two passes for 25 yards!
Moats took over as Houston's featured back after Steve Slaton lost a fumble on his first carry. He churned out productive carry after productive carry, playing ahead of Chris Brown and even getting the ball consistently in short-yardage situations. Moats' final two scores were from one and three yards out, respectively. While it's fairly hard to imagine Slaton being completely dropped from the offensive game plan, Moats has obviously earned a larger role. He'll be worth grabbing in all leagues this week.
Also TE Owen Daniels left the game with a knee injury. Knee injuries can turn out bad and if it does Joel Dreessen could be the pickup you want.
UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Owen Daniels' knee injury will cost him the rest of 2009.
