Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com reported that the five-year, $25 million contract extension that the Minnesota Vikings reached with center John Sullivan included $10 million in guarantees. According to a league source, the reported value of the contract is slightly off, but the reported guarantee is not only dead on, it's fully guaranteed. Sullivan, who is earning a 2011 CBA-enhanced base salary of $600,000 in the final season of his four-year, $1.8 million rookie contract, received a $5 million signing bonus as part of the five-year, $24.5 million extension. In 2012, Sullivan is scheduled to earn a $3 million base salary, which is fully guaranteed (skill, injury and cap), Sullivan is due to earn $3.15 million in base salary in 2013, of which, $2 million is fully guaranteed. The final three years of the deal call for base salaries of $3.65 million (2014) and $4.65 million (2015 and 2016) and there are unspecified base salary escalators and $100,000 workout bonuses from 2013-16.
