The volleyball is on CNBC for me.....boxing on NBC. OOps...the other way around...volleyball on NBC and boxing on CNBC.
Well if they beat the US team then I want us to at least get the Silver medal. If we only lose to the Gold medalists I won't feel quite as bad... :icon_cheesygrin: They just showed the replay of the win in the 4x100 relay by the US. It's freaking awesome how they have that camera under water, and are able to see them looking at each other right before the American dude passes him... He was like "Yeah I just beat you mother hecker!" :yahoo:
That was a very cool moment.....and then watching Phelps go nuts along with the look of the French. Priceless!
I hope Phelps gets the record for most medals this year. No offense to Spitz, but I want the US to keep setting records.
Here is the video of the 4x100, awesome!! http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/pl...hd_swb_hl_l0194&channelcode=sportsw>1=39001
Man, I've been out of the loop. Opening ceremonies were by far the best I've ever seen. A lot of times they start showing ambiguously gay crap and you can't figure out what it means even when the announcers tell you. The stuff the Chinese had going was crystal clear and was beyond words spectacular. U.S. swim team stepping up and beating the French, Hell Yeah! Talk crap now pansy boys. When the hell did a black dude start swimming? That was one of the oddest things I've seen. No, seriously, it's just unusual and I'm surprised nobody has said anything about it already. Freaking cool because he kept us in the race on his leg.
china won 4 goldmedals in weightlifting : freaking doping :icon_twisted: ^^ it was a sick race , i think the first 5 were faster than the old world record, right ? ^^
That French swimmer, Barnard, who made that quote, wrote a check with his mouth that he and his swimming teammates couldn't cash. I wonder if the French are familiar with the quote, "If you taunt, it haunts." USA!!!!
