The Chinese divers are excellent. And the USA mens volleyball team are kicking butt all over that sand.
All I kept hearing is how Spitz did it by breaking world records. Phelps is erasing that argument, not to mention he's domnating his second Olympics when Spitz only dominated one.
Great job Michael. I just got home from work and missed it. What time is his next race, he has 2 tonite right?
Wow he finishes his leg with a 2 body length lead! :flagusa: World Record smashed in the relay....Phelps 5 for 5! Broke 7 minutes.
Under 7 Minutes.....USA........USA...........shaved 5 seconds off the world record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to watch this in a little bit. A friend told me about the record, but I still am dying to watch it. MG what did you mean he's swimming again tonight? Is it over already?
Yep. 2 Golds World Records in both. Michael destroyed the field in the first leg of the relay. Watch the whole race. They crushed the WR by 5 seconds.
The replay that's on right now is woman's volleyball. Looks like they are in their 4th game. And US is about to win. The place doesn't look that packed, is this a medal event?
Imagine how demoralizing it is for the competition? You know you can swim at or above a world record pace, and still you can not beat Michael Phelps.
Looks like woman's swimming is on now. My schedule is so hecked up, I have no idea if this is live or Memorex.
Here is a link to Phelps diet. Unreal! Swimming sensation Michael Phelps has an Olympic recipe for success - and it involves eating a staggering 12,000 calories a day. "Eat, sleep and swim. That's all I can do," Phelps, who won two more gold medals today, told NBC when asked what he needs to win medals. "Get some calories into my system and try to recover the best I can." http://www.nypost.com/seven/08132008/news/nationalnews/phelps_pig_secret__hes_boy_gorge_124248.htm
