I agree.But the owners and the league don't seem to have the balls to put suitable penalties in place.This is a fixable problem.

That's a great question. I seriously doubt it. Maybe he'll only be able to play home games, and get half his salary or something. Maybe he'll be able to get to Oakland or San Diego by bus, but it's not like they play those teams every year.
No, private flights aren't subject to the same regulation as the airlines. There's no baggage checks or identity verifications or anything. Just walk out to the plane, get on, and fly to where you're going.
