Rookie WR Nathan Palmer, who was a member of the 49ers practice squad, has been signed to the Indianapolis Colts 53-man roster. Undrafted out of Northern Illinois, Palmer quickly became a standout rookie during 49ers training camp. He ranked second on the team with six catches for 93 yards with a TD during the preseason, including a long of 51 yards. "I was getting up to get ready to go work out this morning and had a missed couple calls from my agent and once I called him back he was telling me there was good news and bad,†Palmer said. “First he told me I was going home and I thought I'd been cut or released.
