In another sign of just how deep the Packers’ receiving corps was in training camp, the San Francisco 49ers signed Kerry Taylor to their practice squad this week. Taylor was one of four young receivers who had strong showings in the Packers’ camp but were unable to make the 53-man roster because of the five players ahead of them. Taylor, the nephew of former 49ers great John Taylor, had seven catches for an 8.0-yard average in training camp. Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette
