The Jaguars are close to re-signing backup quarterback Luke McCown to a one-year deal, his agent, Mike McCartney, told The Florida Times-Union on Sunday. McCown tore his right anterior cruciate ligament in Week 2 last season and spent the rest of the year on injured reserve. He also suffered a torn ACL in the same knee in 2006. McCown, 29, joined the Jaguars before the 2009 season in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
