All five Browns restricted free agents - D'Qwell Jackson, Jerome Harrison, Matt Roth, Abe Elam and Lawrence Vickers - signed their one-year tender offers today, a league source told the Plain Dealer. All four but Roth received second-round tenders worth $1.759 million; Roth's is $1.809 million because he had five accrued seasons instead of four. The players had until 11:59 p.m. tomorrow night to sign or they would've had their offers reduced to 10 percent of their 2009 base salaries.

I still dont know what they thought they were accomplishing by not signing earlier, they never had a leg to stand on, no leverage. Their agents are idiots.

Glad to see them sign, especially Vickers.

They were just skipping OTA's cause they weren't "under contract"

Yeah but they also skipped minicamp, with the exception of Harrison and Vickers. Basically they (Jackson, Elam, Roth) were willing to miss anything and everything before the 15th, mandatory activities included.

Yeah, as long as they aren't getting fined, OTA=minicamp=don't have to go. Happy Vickers and Harrison actually showed up. Now we're down to "Mangini won't confirm who's starting" and "Shaun Rogers court case" as the only stories left until camp.
