Andy Reid To Coach The Cowboys If Eagles Fire Him?

I could see him coaching for the Eagles next season. He played there in 84. Has PA ties. You never know.

FOr argument sake...yeah. But he had a season after the SUper Bowl and you could tell he had already packed it in after the Super Bowl victory.

 

After thinking about it, I've decided that I don't want Reid in Dallas. If he can't win with the players he had in Philly, what makes anybody think he can win in Dallas?

 

On another sports forum I'm in, another member wants AR to be HC of the Cowboys. He's very critical of JJ, Garrett, Romo, etc. He thinks that if AR gets an offensive coordinator to call the plays, AR could take the Cowboys to the SB. I disagree. I say if he couldn't win with the talent he had in Philly, he can't win in Dallas.

Thoughts?

 

maybe the players in Dallas are more coachable than the ones in Philly. Anything to quell the Sean Payton to Dallas rumors.

 

Andy Reid needs control. Unless JJ dies this offseason, the 2 of them wouldn't even remotely work well together.

i think he'd find a job immediately, maybe its not a year off he needs but rather just a change....theres been fire andy reid shirts for sale in philly since 04

dallas would be hilarious, and honestly i think he'd probably build a dominant team there....one thing he'd have to do is give up his GM powers

 

For starters, he needs a year off. The past 13 years his family has had major, major issues. He's lost one son to drugs and the other isn't exactly an angel. He needs to step away for a minute and take a deep breath and get crap in order. I do think that he does need a change though.

And the part I bolded is something he'd probably be okay doing. He's not the Eagles GM right now but he has heavy input into personnel decisions and that's NOT something JJ would give him, hands down.

 

you know, I think that could actually work. Fitz would love that hire. That would be a good hire. I think all they need is an actual coach.
