Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been named the 2011 Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player. Rodgers received 48 of 50 votes, with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees receiving the remaining two votes. In 15 games this season, Rodgers completed 68.3 percent of 502 pass attempts for 4,643 yards with 45 touchdowns and just six interceptions for an NFL-best passer rating of 122.5. Rodgers added 257 yards and three touchdowns on the ground as the Packers went 14-1 in his starts. Rodgers earned Pro Bowl honors for the second time in his career and was also named first-team All-Pro, edging out Brees, whose record-setting season beat out Rodgers for the AP's Offensive Player of the Year Award.
