Are NFL Locker Rooms Ready To Welcome Gay Players?

    Right. But those 10% who COULD care less?

    That's the problem. And could turn into a really big problem very quickly.

    Some guy was raised to believe it's 'sinful' or feels it's 'disgusting' or 'not biblical' (not uncommon), and now you are asking those individuals to be okay with having to be in the same locker room with those exact people he was taught to essentially hate? What happens when one of those guys hits another guy too hard on the field?

    Whether we think it's fine and dandy or we all 'could give a heck', I see this posing a serious threat to team cohesiveness.

    The Snowman already mentioned it, there are already gay players in the lockerrooms. Back in the days, players felt uncomfortable, when black guys entered the league and lockerroms, but became used to it. So they will get used to confessed gay players, especially when they already shared the lockerrom for several years....
