this was one of the early games i watched. atlanta looked ok. i think they will be alright. the saints defense was the thing i was looking at, to see what improvements they have made. i was fairly impressed at the improvements they have made in their front 7. i'm not sure if it is personnel-driven or scheme-driven. maybe one of the saints fans can fill me in. But it looked markedly better.
our personnel fits an attacking style better than the read and react that the other DC was trying to implement. I thought they looked light years better than last year. Atlanta has a very good offense so to hold them to 17 points was great. I was worried during the first quarter but after they settled down they were very good. but it is one game against a team they know very well. Only time will tell.
