Oh, I suppose teams might try that kind of approach at first but I do believe Hanie can be just effective enough throwing the ball to discourage that approach a bit. No, I'm not saying he is going to come right in and the Bears offense not skip a beat or that defenses will fear his arm. But this isn't going to be a situation where Martz is going to be afraid to let him throw the ball a little bit. The fact that Caleb was able to go into that NFCG game last season after not practicing virtually the entire season and was able to play as well as he did, I have to think in this situation where he gets to have a full week of practice and preparation for the games that he can be adequate in there.
