and seeing as I believe he's better than you think he is. I take that as you are saying those other guys on our team is so much better

 

I know first hand he isnt better. He was on a clear decline his last year in Dallas in 2008. For a player who thrived on physicality, he got muscled on the line and off routes wayyyyyy too much, he doent have the speed to challenge anyone deep anymore which in his prime was a very underrated part of his game, and his hands have always been questionable and are only hurting him more.

I live in Bills country, and all last year was was an even steeper decline from 2008.

At this stage in his career, all he is is what Joey Gallowway has been the past 2 years, a big name flier that wont pan out. Trust, the Bengals have 5 WR's that are more effective NFL WR's in any role or formation that can contribute more than Owens

 

I don't count last year with the Bulls for TO

he had no one to throw to him lol

and even if it's to take double team off of Chad that would be good

 

TO will be on his best behavior knowing he's in the twilight of his career & to prove the media wrong.

Not a great Bengal pickup but not a bad one either IMO. He'll help them out here & there thru-out the year tho not enough to validate the money he's getting.

This team likes to run run run and run some more. And with Owens and Chad Ocho Cinco on the field at the same time, I think somebod is gonna be complaining about they dont get the ball enough. Either Owens or Chad Ocho Cinco

True but the patterns starting to emerge that you'll get at least 1 relatively quiet year out of him. Plus I think he's gotten a wake up call that his days are #'d with another off season void of teams actively pursuing him.

Of course there's a big chance TO will prove me wrong. :icon_cheesygrin:

 

Gonna be interesting to watch the bengals are a team i always root for in the afc. Hope they do well this year win the division and go deep into the playoffs.

 

I can see it now. T. O. and Ochocinco are going to compete with each other to see who can come up with the best post-TD celebration. I hope T. O. and Ochocinco both get their pocketbooks ready. High Sheriff Goodell takes a dim view of such things.

 

i wonder if Ocho and T.O. can get along for an extended period of time working together ........ they are both so egomaniacal and tempermental ........

have you ever had a friend outside of work and then started working with him? it can sometimes get a little strange, especially if one of the friends helped the other one get the job................... not sayin' there are going to be problems but they are both a little erratic to say the least ....................
