I tried not to vote for DeMarcus Ware... I really, really tried... Then I remembered the question is "best pass rusher", so yeah... he's a pass rusher but he's not the most complete defensive player. IMO he's the best at getting after the QB but players like Mario Williams, Jared Allen, Aaron Kampman, Julius Peppers (ok this one in his prime) and James Harrison are much more valuable to have around than DW.
i voted for woodley accidently but he will be in 2 years, the man is unblockable one on one, right now harrison is the more polished LB, better in coverage, an absolute terror against the run but woodley is the better pass rusher and harrison benefits from woods double teams more than the other way around right now ware is very overrated because of the big season last year, hes consistant for the most part but i dont think he dominates like that again this year....also hes been quoted in saying next to him canty was the best player on that defense so we'll see how he does without him. ware is the best speed rusher, hes fast, lanky and has a good set of moves. harrison is the best bull rusher, hes short, unbelievable strong and gets under the tackles pads to push them around....you cant really go wrong either way but i like all the turnover harrison creates off his rush and his dominance against the run
De I'm Going to go with Osi ...LB S.Merriman (he's a beast when it come to adding pressure to the QB)
where is Trent Cole? haters. I have to go with Brett Favre, he rushes more passes than anyone on that list.
There is so much wrong with this statement that I do not know where to start. The main thing that makes Ware the best OLB is that he has the best all around game.
