I do not feel the Rams and Seahawks are any bit of a rivalry. 49ers and Rams or even 49ers and Seahawks would be more of a rivalry.
i can't believe no one put texans/titans for afc south. i know it's not as long-standing as some rivalries but there is just so much tension in the building while those two teams are on the field. can't say i have been to a colts/jags game but i would be surprised to find the type of bitter atmosphere surrounding texans/titans. the best though has to be by a whole conference-nfc east with dallas, philly, washington and new york new york all at each other's throats every game.
Right on! Tried to rep ya for that too...but I gotta rep others first! :icon_redface: I always said, when it comes to the Chiefs/Raiders games, throw the record books out the window...it doesn't matter!
Saints/Falcons in the NFC South and it's not even close. I would say Falcons/Panthers since they changed the divisions. We freakin' hate each other. Did everyone already forget the D. Hall/Steve Smith episode last year. That's just been building and building over the years.
Exactly my point there RF....the one common denominator is......They all want to beat the Steelers. The other rivalries are there but they ALL want to be and beat the Steelers. It's been that way since the 70's now.
AFC North: Steelers and Ravens AFC East: Patriots and Jets AFC South: Colts and Jaguars AFC West: Raiders and Chiefs NFC North: Bears and Packers NFC East: Cowboys and Redskins (Really the Giants and Eagles would do too) NFC South: Falcons and Saints (Old NFC West Rivalry as already stated) NFC West: Rams and 49ers
