After signing big-money free agents like Nikolai Khabibulin, Brian Campbell and Cristobal Huet over the last few summers, the Chicago Blackhawks have kept the momentum going by signing star winger Marian Hossa to a 12-year contract averaging $5.2 million a season. Blackhawks sign Hossa to multi-year contract
Holy crap, 12 years, really? How old is Hossa? LOL this league is crazy with that crap. He will missed (in the regular season)
he will lose in the stanley cup finals vs. the caps next season :icon_cheesygrin: 12 years contract for hossa is sick , this league is a joke ^^
This - ^ and... I hope the Flyers play the Blackhawks in the Finals...the curse of Hossa must live on! **********Automerged Doublepost********** btw - 12 years...:laughy32:
it just makes me laugh cause we offered him 70+ million, he turns it down to win a cup, we beat him for the cup and he ends up with a deal worth less money and no cup...it makes me laugh, what a series of decisions he has made lol
Knuble was great when he was here. I also just heard the terms of the contract for Hossa. He was offered only 1mil less a year from Detroit than Chicago.
I think he liked the long term future in chicago. I don't know how effective he will be at the end of the deal when he's 40 or 42.
