Nearly a week after Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Pat Williams made derogatory remarks about quarterback Tarvaris Jacksons work ethic, coach Brad Childress stuck up for Jackson today during the teams mandatory minicamp, according to Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Per the report, Childress said that Jackson puts in as much time at the Vikings training facility as anyone on the team. Tarvaris Jackson is one of hardest working guys you are going to find in this 85-man roster right now, Childress said. Just in terms of the time he spends here, the time he spends in the books, with the wide receivers, in the weight room, strength and conditioning. Theres very few people that work as hard as he does in the offseason.
