With LaDainian Tomlinson signing with the Jets instead of the Vikings, head coach Brad Childress was asked if Albert Young could end up as the No. 2 running back behind Adrian Peterson. "Yeah," Childress said, before adding, "We always keep turning over the rocks and you're always trying to look on your roster and look at what's out there." But that doesn't mean the Vikings are going to dip back into the free-agent market to try to replace Chester Taylor. "I'm not going to be definitive either way, but I think free agency is still going on, so yeah," that's a possibility, Childress said. "It's not something that we're doing in earnest."
