Braylon Edwards Traded To Jets

Isn't Edwards gonna be a free agent next year? So what is to say he stays with the Jets? Again Mangina is freaking the Browns for taking trash from the Jets in exchange for the only legit weapon the Browns had(when he doesn't drop the ball).

 

No chance Braylon was staying in Cleveland next year. So the Browns got 2 picks and 2 players for a player that was gonna walk away anyway. He could walk away from the Jets too. I would assume they plan on negotiating before that happens. Braylon's problem isn't his talent, its his head. He'll still have some drops in NJ, but he should be pretty good for them.

 

The browns got 2 scrubs and 2 future scrubs because that is what Mangina brings in.

the Bray got what he wanted he had been telling alot of people back in A2 for a while now he never wanted to be in Ohio and had been trying to force the browns hand for a while now

you guys are also forgeting the browns would have franed him then tried to trade him before the draft

so its not like the browns just traded away a player who had no value to them after the season

I told you he and Mangini couldn't exist on the same team...he's not a "Mangini Guy." lol...

The Jets got good risk/reward by getting Edwards. They also got someone who will warrant the safeties to play a little deeper. The Jets run game has been piss poor because the defenses were putting both safeties in the box to stop the run. They won't be able to do that anymore...

It will open things up for Shonn Greene...when he takes over the starting job...

 

I bet edwards turns it around big time.. playing for a crapty team will do that. lol. Cleavland would make brett favre want to retire, for GOOD.

 

not a bad deal for both sides although i'm surprised the jets would mess with a good thing. they seemed to be doing pretty well and edwards is the type of guy that can change the chemistry in a locker room. we'll see.
