He's Donovan's friend. They had some very good seasons together. Natural for him to back him up. He isn't saying anything every other pundit is spewing on the radio.

Screw the last two games. He really had no business running the WCO with how inaccurate the guy is. I've said it (probably close to) a million times: he throws balls in the dirt, and his throws never lead the receiver. They are more often than not low where the receiver has to go to his knees, behind him where he needs to stop to catch the ball, or behind him where he can't catch it in stride.

This is a critical aspect to a WCO QB's game. I've heard Kolb is very good in this department. Change in offense might actually help Donovan a bit.

Problem is the Skins run a WCO too

Agreed. It always pissed me off when he decided he was going to try and shed that 'running QB' tag and plant his butt in the pocket even when he had 10 yards of green in front of him.

I think he still is athletic enough, but he is scared. He's fragile now. He comes up gimp quite a bit when he runs and has had a few injuries while running, so he's even more hesitant now.

Is that Shanny's style? If they keep the WCO, then I'm thrilled. Little worried about the deep ball because that and the screen is all he really has, but McDermott is gonna cook up some hot crap for him.

I'm actually looking forward to the games.

Yep, and IIRC Shanny is pure Walsh WCO, save for the zone blocking

Funny thing about it is that McNabb is back to square one when it comes to not having a good WR core, i will give him that at least they are addressing their running game but they need to work on their O-line or else McNabb will be scrambling all the time having not WR getting open

What this does for D.C. is brings a proven winner at QB.

and every1 knows that this is a rare thing in this league.

and then you add a proven winner at Head Coach. and now you have a recipe 4 something 2 happen.

i dont think that they make the playoffs. but they sure are dangerous for the rest of the NFC.
