The Browns announced the hiring of Kent Johnston as head strength and conditioning coach on Wednesday. Johnston was the Packers' strength and conditioning coach throughout new Browns team president Mike Holmgren's seven-year tenure in Green Bay, and he served in the same position in Seattle in Holmgren's first five seasons in Seattle (1999-2003). Johnston spent the last four years out of football after working as the strength and conditioning coach at the University of Alabama from 2004-05. Source: Pro Football Weekly
