Quarterback Derek Anderson has been benched by the Cleveland Browns, who will start popular backup Brady Quinn on Thursday night against the Denver Broncos. The switch was confirmed Monday by the team, just hours after coach Romeo Crennel said he had no plans to make a change. Anderson, who has been inconsistent this season, threw a costly interception that was returned for a touchdown in the final minutes of Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. hell probably play well his first game (it is against denver's defence) but i cant wait to see him go up against someone with a real pass rush
Well I asked where the Browns fans were, and you showed up. I could care less how well Quinn does in Cleveland. Those bastards should have let us have him when we asked. Hopefully Thigpen can stay healthy for us, but I was hoping to get him.
o. i was just sayig how i cant wait to see him get sacked 50 + times. i really wasnt answering ur call for browns fans
Brownies need to determine what to do with their QBs for next season. Should be interesting to see how Quinn does.
The Browns still have fans? Just because the guy's got "Brady" in his name doesn't mean he's any good. He could be named after the Brady Bunch for all I know.
Im a browns fan...as far as AFC goes. And Brady sucks butt... No doubt Anderson has been streaky and inconsistent but IF Braylon didn't lead the league in dropped balls and they weren't forced by injuries to start someone like Syndric Steptoe at WR they would have won at least another 2 if not 3 games. Brady is FAR from the answer.... but I hope I'm wrong.
