I just saw the way Hoyer landed on his knee and it looked like a nasty way to land on your knee.

Agree...it looked bad from the start. Good thing is that the Browns will get to see Weeden with a "full team" at his disposal. Something he didn't have the first two weeks.

 

I think I'm the kiss of death. I added Hoyer to one of my fantasy teams because both RG3 and Big Ben are on bye weeks. Look what happened.

 

He's got a partial tear according to the MRI...getting a second opinion and then surgery.

what an awful thing to happen to a kid who was playing really good. hope he rehabs and is ready for 2014 if the browns do not draft a franchise qb.

 

I think that was pretty much his only shot, they will draft a QB high now

 

agreed ktrain. hoyer looked ok but this regime seems somewhat deadset on bringing in their own guy so i would be surprised if hoyer ever starts another game for them. maybe he can catch on somewhere else and get another chance in the league sometime.

 

Hoyer looked okay however, the real test would have come next week when teams had three games worth of tape on him and could really scheme for the way he plays...his favorite pass routes, pass lanes, escape lanes all that crap usually comes out around the fourth game with these guys.
