dude his rookie year he wasn't getting the job because it's not a smart move, the organization wanted him to sit and learn which historically in most cases this way works better...Anderson had a really good year so they had to give him the starting job last year. Anderson then played terrible week in and week out, they made the move to Quinn and he got hurt...it is impossible to judge the kid on 3 games, he will get his shot this year...it had nothing to do with not being able to play the position, just with how the cards fell... I would like to get other peoples opinions on the subject to see what their feelings are on the subject please.
We both agree he will more likely then not get the nod this year..... for the sake of my inner Browns fan I hope I'm wrong and he's a stud..... I just don't see anywhere near the upside in his game that I see in DA's.... rewatch the Brown's Giants game from last year..... I don't see BQ being capable of sticking it to a quality NFL defense the way DA did. I hope I'm wrong. Now inevitably when these conversation come up on GIF and I state my opinion people think I am saying DA is the greatest thing since sliced bread...... I'm NOT.... he needs to be WAY more consistent and smart with the football but I don't see how anyone who watched the 1st half of last year can't say that AT A MINIMUM 60% if not 75-80% of the blame for DA's poor play and eventual benching was because Braylon was dropping everything that came near his hands.... Time and time again DA would hit Braylon for what would have been a first down and the drive would end because BE couldn't catch a cold.
