Heard an interesting take from someone today, what if a team with an established QB and established coach takes a chance on him and brings him in as a #3? Say a New England? Or an Indianapolis?

There's probably 5-7 teams that have questions at QB...JaMarcus isn't the answer to any of them. Hell, realistically, LSU wouldn'y take him back if they could...
In reality, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that no team is going to take a chance on Russell as a starter. Some teams, he'd be lucky to be a back up on. It will be interesting to see what teams would take him as their 3rd string QB. So the sake of his career, he better see this as a wake up call.
true. when blaze first mentioned a team picking him up as a #3, i thought it couldn't hurt a team, but then i thought about it and i'm not too sure i would want my team to do that. could he do more harm than good as a #3 qb by his lack of work ethic rubbing off on younger players or could he create some locker room issues eventually with his attitude?

i don't think he's dumb. he just didn't give any effort. he didn't want to put in the blood, sweat, and tears to be a good QB in this league. he made a bunch of money off of his college performance and decided that was all he wanted out of life. but he's not dumb.
